Warfarin is an anticoagulant (blood thinner). Warfarin reduces the formation of blood clots. Warfarin is used to treat or prevent blood clots in veins or arteries, which can reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other serious conditions.

Indications( What is this drug used for?)

1. Atrial Fibrillation with embolisation
2. Pulmonary Embolism
3. Venous Thrombosis

Precaution( Conditions where caution needs to be observed)

1. Hepatic Impairment
2. Renal Impairment
3. Periodic testing of PT (Prothrombin Time)
4. Recent Surgery
5. Avoid NSAIDs usage
6. Congestive heart failure

Side Effect( Are symptoms that may occur on taking the drug)

3. Liver Dysfunction
4. Pancreatitis
